Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about commercial security, network infrastructure, and critical system support.
01
General Questions
While our primary focus is enterprise and commercial infrastructure (warehouses, offices, retail, and government facilities), we do provide high-end security solutions for large residential estates. We bring the same military-grade technology used in commercial sectors to protect your home.
We are based in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and cover the greater surrounding region. For large-scale industrial projects or multi-site network rollouts, our team is equipped to travel nationwide. Please contact our project management team to discuss specific site locations
Absolutely. We carry full commercial general liability insurance and worker’s compensation. Our technicians are certified in low-voltage cabling and adhere to all NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure your installation is safe, compliant, and passes inspection.

Services Info
It depends on your facility’s size and data needs.
Cat6/Cat6a (Copper): Best for connecting individual devices (cameras, PCs, VoIP phones) over distances under 328 feet (100m). It is the standard for reliable office networks.
Fiber Optics: Essential for “backbone” connections between server rooms or connecting buildings that are far apart. Fiber offers higher speeds and is immune to electrical interference, making it ideal for industrial environments.
Tip: We typically recommend a hybrid approach—Fiber for the main data highway, and Cat6a for the “last mile” to your devices.
Yes. For government and federally funded projects, we supply fully NDAA-compliant hardware. This ensures your equipment contains no banned components from specific restricted manufacturers, meeting the strict security standards required for US government contracts.
Yes. We configure secure, encrypted remote access for all our systems. You can view live feeds and playback footage from a dedicated mobile app or web browser anywhere in the world. We also set up “User Permissions” so you can control which employees have access to specific cameras.
Our cameras are capable of audio recording, but laws regarding audio surveillance vary by state. By default, we prioritize video capture. If you require audio recording for specific areas (like interview rooms or point-of-sale terminals), we will consult with you on the legal compliance requirements for your location.

Emergency Questions
We offer tiered Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for post-installation support.
Standard Support: Business-hour response times for non-critical issues.
Emergency Support: 24/7 rapid response for critical failures (e.g., server offline, perimeter breach).
Immediate Tip: If a camera is offline, check if the PoE switch has power. 80% of “broken” cameras are simply due to a tripped breaker or unplugged switch.
Storage time depends on the size of your Hard Drive (HDD) and the recording settings. Most commercial clients choose a 30-day retention cycle. However, we can build custom server solutions to retain footage for 60, 90, or 365 days if required for compliance in industries like banking or cannabis retail.
Yes. We provide a 1-year workmanship warranty on all installations to guarantee flawless cabling and mounting. The hardware itself (cameras, NVRs, switches) typically carries a 3-to-5-year manufacturer warranty, which we help facilitate if a replacement is ever needed.
